I had the honour of winning a competition a little while ago on Instagram from the brilliant Gidsy and Jo. I was lucky enough to receive one of their Mermaid Sewing Kits, and this is what it was like to put it together.
Well for my soul at least. I am just reminiscing about a little trip I did with my family last week. Between work, and flat hunting, and moving flats, social engagements and my husband going away for work or with his band, it felt like we hadn't spent much time together as a family recently. Things can get a bit overwhelming in this city (I'm referring to London but any city is the same I'm sure). Being a brand that wants to promote slow living and sustainability thats not how I want to live!
In fact, the reason I'm writing this post is to give ideas of things to put in easter baskets that are not made of chocolate. I also want to show support for my fellow small, family run, design led businesses! So I have put together a few items that I will actually be giving my son for Easter and here's a little bit about each one.
